A Bit About Me
Welcome to 𝐽𝑎𝑛𝑒 𝐴𝑙𝑒𝑥𝑎𝑛𝑑𝑟𝑎 𝑇𝑢𝑡𝑜𝑟𝑖𝑛𝑔! If you're looking for some educational support for your child, whether it's basic skills, deeper learning, preparing for entrance exams or 11+, or if you're looking to help your child with their confidence, I can help.
I have been teaching primary-age children since 2007, including several years of tutoring children in a primary school setting. More recently, I taught for six years at an independent school as the Head of English and worked with children in the years running up to the secondary school entrance exams. I have also tutored many pupils privately over the years.
My approach is very child-centred: I believe in empowering children with their learning, and building their confidence alongside developing their skills in English and Maths.
Practicalities
I am available for tutoring sessions after 4pm on weekdays, and also have some availability during the school holidays. Sessions take place at my home in Wellesbourne. I have a fully up-to-date DBS certificate.
